Founded in 1998, British Dubai International School has been a cornerstone of excellence in Dubai’s educational landscape for over 25 years. What began as a small community school has grown into a thriving international institution, serving over 1,200 students from more than 60 nationalities.

1998
The Beginning
British Dubai International School opens its doors with 87 students and a vision to provide world-class British education in the heart of Dubai.
2008
Expansion & Growth
The school moves to its current state-of-the-art campus, doubling its capacity and introducing new facilities including a sports complex and performing arts center.
2018
International Recognition
BDIS receives its British Schools Overseas (BSO) accreditation and is recognized as one of the top British international schools in the UAE.
2020
Innovation & Adaptation
